Business Contact Manager Installation

There is two way to install Bussiness Contact Manager, Wizard(Auto install) and Manual installation. Please keep in mind that the installation wizard just imports the database tables and make "/nodcms/confiig/database.php"(database config file). 

If you have any issues with the installation wizard try the manual way and share the issues with us. We will be happy to know the issues to keep the software update.

Installation Wizard:

After purchase Business Contact Manager and extract the main file you have a "BCM" folder that it is your system files.

Copy all file and directories from "BCM-Install" and paste them in where you want, and just open the URL with your browser.

Manual installation steps:

  1. Create a new empty database on your MySQL server(Set "Collation" on utf8_general_ci)
  2. Import the install.sql file from in your database
  3. Rename the file database_manual.php to "/nodcms/config/database.php"
  4. Enter your database name on line 81 of database.php between the last two quotation marks ('database' => 'YOUR DATABASE NAME')
  5. Set your host username on line 79 instead of root ('username' => 'root')
  6. Enter your password in line 80 between the last two quotation marks. ('password' => 'YOUR PASSWORD')

Administrator's panel:

After install, use the top right button "Account" and click on the "Login".

Default admin data:

username: admin

password: 123456

After login, instead of "Account", you will see "Admin"(the username). Click on admin then on Control Panel to access the admin side.

!IMPORTANT

Keep your software safe:

  • Anyone can use the installer on your host. There is no any password to access to install.
  • After install removes "install" folder from your root.
  • After install changes your default admin password.

If after a successful installation you got Error page 404, please replace the content of .htaccess in root with the below codes.
